Kena Upanishad Discourses at Ashram

After Vedanta-Saar, Poojya Guruji has now started Kena Upanishad with Shankar Bhashya in his daily morning class at Vedanta Ashram. Right now the Sambandha Bhashya of the 'Pada-Bhashya' of the Upanishad is going on. Poojya Guruji also proposes to take the Vayka-Bhashya after this.

Yoga Asana Camp at Ashram

A month long Yoga Asana Camp has been organized at Vedanta Ashram, from 13th Oct to 15th Nov 2008. It is being conducted by a trained Yoga Teacher of Satyananda Yoga Kendra - Sh Atma Bhakta.

The class starts every day sharp at 6.00 AM for an hour. Many aspirants come to attend the free camp.

GGY at Secunderabad

A four days Gita Gyana Yagna by Poojya Swamini Amitanandaji started at Secunderabad on 16th Oct evening. The text of the discourses is Gita Chapter 17. The host is seen doing the Vyasa-Peetha puja on the opening day of the Gyana Yagna. 

P.Swaminiji will also be addressing children of the well-known Gitanjali school on 17th. 

Visit to Nakhrali Dhani

Poojya Guruji, P.Swamini Amitanandaji and P. Swamini Samatanandaji visted Nahkrali Dhani alongwith Sh Harishbhai and Kiriben Thakrar on 11th Oct evening. The couple is from UK and is currently at the Vedanta Ashram for a weeklong stay. The day happened to be the birthday of Harishbhai.

Sanyas Deeksha of Poojya Guruji

On 10th Oct 2008 was the Sanyas Deeksha of Poojya Guruji. The day started with Pooja of Bhagwan Sri Gangeshwar Mahadev by Poojya Guruji, and later in the evening there was special program. 

Poojya Guruji was first in nostalgic mood and remembered how 20 years back on this day his Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji gave him Sanyas Deeksha at Sidhbari Ashram in HP. He conveyed his blessings to all the devotees. Later there was a light entertaining cultural program, where a toy was passed on amongst devotees while the music played, and whenever and wherever the music stopped that person had to present whatever was told - like enacting a scene from Ramayana, singing bhajan etc. The day finished with a lovely Bhandara offered by Sh Vinod Aroraji.

GGY Jodhpur

Poojya Swamini Amitanandaji conducted the first VM Gita Gyana Yagna at Jodhpur from 1st to 5th Oct 2008. The discourses were organized in the ground of Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Poojya Swaminiji conducted discourses on Gita Chapter 17 and Dwadasha Manjarika Stotram (the first 12 shloka of Bhaja Govindam). 

While at Jodhpur she also visited the Chamunda Mandir, and Santosh Ashram at Sojatcity.
