In the fourth session of guided 'vedantic' meditation, Poojya Guruji began with guidance of necessity to 'see' and 'assimilate' the real meaning of 'Nirpekshata' (indifference). There is one nirpek... which is of a person who doesn't like someone, such a fellow is also indiff... but this is not the nirpek... we cherish, because such an attitude is ego-centric and prompted by conditionings. In such a nirpek... there is lack of sensitivity; and the nirpekshata which is ishta is the one with profound sensitivity. 'See' the meaning of real nirpe.. and let it be a quality of your heart. This alone will facilitate us to see the anitya as anitya and nitya as nitya, in fact such a nirpek... implies this viveka alone.
